Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Update: South Stand Almost Complete
Tottenham Hotspur are winding up their solitary season at Wembley Stadium as they are set to move into their brand new stadium for the 2018/19 Premier League campaign.

One key feature of the stadium is its enormous 17,500 capacity single-tier south stand. The stand has been specifically designed to create a noisy atmosphere of support – the attention to detail trickles down even to the tightness of the bowl. The South-Stand has also been designed with safe standing in mind – with hopes across the country that this new scheme will be introduced to the Premier League and the Championship.
Fans on social media have dubbed the new south stand the ‘White Wall’ paying homage to the 25,000 capacity Borussia Dortmund single stand, infamously named the ‘Yellow Wall’ – the biggest free-standing grandstand in Europe.

Rumours have circulated as of late, that Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have approached the Premier League ahead of the 2018/19 fixture list announcement, to request that their first four games to be played away from home, just like Liverpool did when they underwent renovations to their stadium. The internet whispers are unconfirmed and have not been commented on by the club in any way.
