Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which was relatively outdated, has been renovated to a sleek modern design and is now where the fans and supporters enjoy the ultimate matchday experience. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has now replaced their old stadium ‘White Hart Lane’, which they played at for 118 years!
As the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was quite outdated, the club looked for different ways to modernise the stadium and improve the location for the players and the fans. However, they were unsure whether they should make a whole new stadium or refurbish an existing one, and they went ahead with renovating an existing one.
During the 2018/19 season, the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was opened and built with the ultimate matchday experience, including world-class facilities, state of the art design, and excellent acoustics. Thus, ensuring one of the best atmospheres of any club ground in Europe when you purchase your Spurs tickets.
Our Spurs hospitality packages also include different seating area options, providing you with a more fantastic choice of where to watch the game.

Spurs v West Ham Previous Fixture
Spurs 2 – 0 West Ham United (19th February 2023).
Tottenham Hotspur’s most recent match against fellow London club West Ham United was in February 2023 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It was the Lilywhites who ended up securing what was a deserved 2-0 victory.
Before facing the Hammers, Spurs sat in 5th place in the Premier League table with 39 points to their name after 23 matches. They were still one of the teams looking for Champions League qualification, with 2 points separating themselves and Newcastle United in 4th. Spurs were also 4 points above high-flying Brighton & Hove Albion in 6th.
Leicester City were Tottenham’s opponent in their most recent match ahead of this clash with David Moyes’ side. The Lilywhites lost 4-1 at the King Power Stadium, with their only goal of the game coming when Rodrigo Bentancur opened the scoring in the first half (14’). Nampalys Mendy (23’), James Maddison (25’), Kelechi Iheanacho (45+4’) & Harvey Barnes (81’) all scored for the Foxes.
Meanwhile, West Ham United sat in 16th place with 20 points, with Moyes’ team just 2 points above the drop before their match against Spurs.
It was the visitors who had the first opportunity to open the scoring in the opening seconds of the match when a pass from Tomás Soucek found forward Jarrod Bowen. Bowen took a shot from outside of the penalty area, which flew narrowly wide of the post (1’).
Spurs’ first attempt on goal came after 10 minutes had elapsed. Academy product Oliver Skipp had a long-range effort well blocked by a resilient Hammers defence (11’).
The home side then began to pile on some pressure, with Harry Kane having his first chance of the afternoon just before the 20 minute mark. The club’s leading goal scorer had a powerful shot from range blocked by the West Ham defenders to keep the score at 0-0 (18’).
Emerson Royal then had an effort on goal of his own just before the half-hour mark after receiving the ball from fellow Brazilian Richarlison. The right back’s effort was blocked well by the visitors’ defenders (27’).
The Lilywhites continued to pile on the pressure, and Denmark international Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg forced a great save from Lukasz Fabianski, despite the ball looking destined to find the bottom left corner (36’).
In first-half stoppage time, Spurs had a number of further efforts on goal as they looked to finally break the deadlock. Richarlison forced a save from Fabianski (45+1’), before Cristian Romero saw his header towards goal fly over the crossbar (45+2’).
Kane then had the final chance to open the scoring in the first half, but his shot went wide of the post (45+3’).
The second half started very much as the first half ended. Richarlison forced Fabianski into yet another save after receiving the ball from Sweden international Dejan Kulusevski (48’).
The West Ham defence was doing well to maintain parity, but they would not be able to keep Spurs out for much longer. Tottenham finally opened the scoring with just over half an hour of the match remaining when Emerson Royal found the bottom left corner from close range to give the Lilywhites a deserved lead (56’).
After Bowen forced a save from Hugo Lloris (58’), Dejan Kulusevski then came close to making it 2-0 to the home side from close range, only for Fabianski to make yet another save to keep the Hammers in the match (59’).
Tottenham continued to threaten a second goal going into the closing stages of the match and had several chances to double their advantage with less than 20 minutes to go. France’s Clement Llenglet had a shot blocked (70’) before an effort from Kulusevski was also prevented from finding the back of the net thanks to a block. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg also had a shot blocked himself a few seconds later (71’).
The Lilywhites did not have to wait much longer to put the game beyond doubt, doubling their lead just a minute later. Heung-Min Son, after receiving the ball from Harry Kane, found the bottom right corner of the net to make it 2-0 to the home side (72’).
The match ended with Spurs earning a deserved and indeed comfortable 2-0 Premier League victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It was Tottenham who had the most possession with 57% compared to West Ham United’s 43%. Spurs had more shots on target with 6, as opposed to 1 for David Moyes’ Hammers.
