The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has now replaced their old stadium ‘White Hart Lane’, which they played at for 118 years!
As the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was quite outdated, the club looked for different ways to modernise the stadium and improve the location for the players and the fans. However, they were unsure whether they should make a whole new stadium or refurbish an existing one, and they went ahead with renovating an existing one.
During the 2018/19 season, the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was opened and built with the ultimate matchday experience, including world-class facilities, state of the art design, and excellent acoustics. Thus, ensuring one of the best atmospheres of any club ground in Europe when you purchase your Spurs tickets.

Spurs v West Ham Previous Fixture
Tottenham Hotspur 1 – 1 West Ham United (2022/23 – 31st August 2022)
These two London rivals met for the first time in the 2022/23 Premier League season at the London Stadium on 31st August.
Ahead of the match, Tottenham had enjoyed an unbeaten start to the campaign sitting in third place in the Premier League with 10 points.
Antonio Conte’s team managed to maintain their unbeaten record with a 1-1 draw against David Moyes’ Hammers.
As with any derby, there was to be controversy, and it came when Spurs were denied what was initially declared a penalty after a VAR check that resulted in this decision being reversed.
West Ham had good chances to open the scoring through Michail Antonio and club captain Declan Rice, who both forced spectacular saves from Hugo Lloris.
Despite these chances, it was the Lilywhites who opened the scoring when a Harry Kane cross was turned into his own net by ex-Paris Saint Germain defender Thilo Kehrer (34’).
Unfortunately, Conte’s team were unable to hold onto their lead for long, when Czech Republic international Tomas Soucek equalised just a few minutes into the second half (55’).
Spurs had to show the resilience and determination that they had shown in games previously when West Ham had chances to score a late winner. Jarrod Bowen played a ball just in front of goal, but to the relief of Spurs fans, no player in Claret & Blue got on the end of it.
Tottenham dominated with 62% possession compared to West Ham’s 38%. They didn’t just dominate on the ball, they were dangerous in front of goal with 12 shots; 3 on target.
The draw saw Spurs remain in third place in the table and in the race for European football. West Ham on the other hand climbed up to 14th place.
