Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which was relatively outdated, has been renovated to a sleek modern design and is now where the fans and supporters enjoy the ultimate matchday experience. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has now replaced their old stadium ‘White Hart Lane’, which they played at for 118 years!
As the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was quite outdated, the club looked for different ways to modernise the stadium and improve the location for the players and the fans. However, they were unsure whether they should make a whole new stadium or refurbish an existing one, and they went ahead with renovating an existing one.
During the 2018/19 season, the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was opened and built with the ultimate matchday experience, including world-class facilities, state of the art design, and excellent acoustics. Thus, ensuring one of the best atmospheres of any club ground in Europe when you purchase your Spurs tickets.

Spurs v Man Utd Previous Fixture
Spurs 2 – 2 Man Utd (27th April 2023)
Spurs’ latest match against Manchester United was back in April 2023 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in what was an enthralling match.
Ahead of the game, Tottenham were sat in 5th place with 53 points to their name after 32 matches. Just 6 points separated the Lilywhites and Manchester United who occupied 4th spot with 2 games in hand on their North London counterparts.
In their most recent match before this one, Tottenham were on the wrong end of a 6-1 score line against Newcastle United at St. James’s Park. Harry Kane scored Spurs’ only goal of the game early in the second half (49’). The Magpies’ six goals came through Joelinton (6’), Callum Wilson (67’) and braces from Jacob Murphy (2’ & 9’) and Alexander Isak (19’ & 21’).
Meanwhile, Manchester United were sat in 4th place with 59 points and they held a 6 point lead on Tottenham with 2 games in hand. Erik Ten Hag’s Red Devils were only behind high flying Newcastle United in 3rd place on goal difference.
Tottenham did not get off to the best of starts in the match when Jadon Sancho found the bottom right corner of the net after receiving a pass into his feet from the in-form Marcus Rashford (7’).
Speaking of Rashford, he did come close to making it 2-0 a few minutes later, but his effort on goal went very narrowly wide of the post following a free-kick from just outside of the penalty area.
Seconds later, Brazilian forward Richarlison came agonisingly close to restoring parity with a shot from close range only for Spanish stopper David De Gea preventing the ball from finding the back of the net with a great save (13’).
Goal scorer Sancho had two efforts blocked to keep at 1-0, before one of Spurs’ January signings, Pedro Porro saw an effort of his own go over the crossbar (21’).
Ivan Perisic then had a shot well saved by De Gea before the ball fell to Heung-Min Son saw his own effort on goal well blocked by the resilient Red Devils defence (28’).
Just after Ivan Perisic had yet another shot saved, Marcus Rashford doubled his team’s advantage to make it 2-0 to Erik Ten Hag’s side at the break. The England international forward found the top left corner with a superb finish after a Bruno Fernandes pass in what was a quick counter attack (44’).
It did not take long for Tottenham to halve the deficit in the second half. Pedro Porro found the back of the net with a powerful close range effort that found the top right corner (56’).
There was a clear increase in confidence levels amongst the Spurs ranks as they attempted to find that all-important equalising goal. Denmark’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg almost completed the comeback with a shot from outside of the penalty area, with the ball flying narrowly wide of the post following a corner kick (60’).
Harry Kane then had an effort well blocked by Red Devils defence a few minutes later (62’).
Tottenham were now well on top and looking the most likely team to score the fourth goal of the game. And, after several shots failed to find the back of the net, Harry Kane finally scored the goal to restore parity with just barely more than 10 minutes of the match remaining.
Heung-Min Son found the bottom right corner from extremely close range after Kane found him with a pass (79’). This was incredible drama and there was joy for those of a Tottenham persuasion with Spurs completing an incredible comeback from 2 goals down at the break.
There was no winning goal, and the match ended level at 2-2. This point did not change the circumstances of either team with both clubs remaining in the same position and they were still 6 points apart.
It was the visitors United who had the most possession with 60.1% in comparison to Tottenham Hotspur’s 39.9%. Ten Hag’s side also edged Spurs in terms of shots on target with 8 in comparison to the Lilywhites’ 7.
