The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has now replaced their old stadium ‘White Hart Lane, which they played at for 118 years!
As the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was quite outdated, the club looked for different ways to modernise the stadium and improve the location for the players and the fans. However, they were unsure whether they should make a whole new stadium or refurbish an existing one, and they went ahead with renovating an existing one.
During the 2018/19 season, the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was opened and built with the ultimate matchday experience, including world-class facilities, state of the art design, and excellent acoustics. Thus, ensuring one of the best atmospheres of any club ground in Europe when you purchase your Spurs tickets.

Spurs v Liverpool Previous Fixture
Tottenham Hotspur 1 – 1 Liverpool
The last Premier League meeting in May 2022 between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool saw the Lilywhites and the Reds play out a 1-1 draw at Anfield.
Spurs’ star Son Heung-Min opened the scoring (56’) just moments after the start of the second period before parity was restored thanks to a goal from Luis Diaz (74’).
The match also saw Son score his 20th goal in open play of the Premier League season, becoming the first to do so for Spurs since Gareth Bale in 2012/13.
Liverpool had the majority of possession (65%) and were able to amass 22 shots during the course of the ninety minutes. Spurs did manage to remain resolute before levelling up the tie through Son’s goal.
Son was the top goal scorer for Spurs last season with 23 goals, with Mo Salah also being the top goal scorer for the Reds. Both players received the golden boot.
Spurs had a busy summer transfer window as they look to improve on last season’s 4th-place finish. Richarlison was signed for £52m from Everton, Yves Bissouma came in from Brighton for £26m, whilst Ivan Perisic came in from Italian giants Inter Milan on a free transfer.
Liverpool were also active, with Darwin Nunez joining from Portuguese team Benfica for £72m and Portuguese ‘wonderkid’ Fabio Carvalho also joining the club from Fulham for £5m.
Harry Kane is the Lilywhites’ top goal scorer so far this season with 10 goals, with Roberto Firmino not far behind on 7 goals for the Reds.
The two teams have met 60 times since the Premier League’s inception, with Spurs emerging victorious on 14 occasions.
In their previous fixture, Spurs came back to beat Bournemouth 3-2 in an impressive comeback victory, and The Reds recently beat champions Manchester City 1-0 in an enthralling match at Anfield.
This coming Sunday (6th) sees Spurs and Liverpool come face to face once more, looking for all three points to enhance their bids for a UEFA Champions League place.
This is a match you really don’t want to miss in what promises to be an entertaining and hard-fought encounter.
