Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which was relatively outdated, has been renovated to a sleek modern design and is now where the fans and supporters enjoy the ultimate matchday experience. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has now replaced their old stadium ‘White Hart Lane’, which they played at for 118 years!
As the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was quite outdated, the club looked for different ways to modernise the stadium and improve the location for the players and the fans. However, they were unsure whether they should make a whole new stadium or refurbish an existing one, and they went ahead with renovating an existing one.
During the 2018/19 season, the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was opened and built with the ultimate matchday experience, including world-class facilities, state of the art design, and excellent acoustics. Thus, ensuring one of the best atmospheres of any club ground in Europe when you purchase your Spurs tickets.

Spurs v Fulham Match Review
Fulham 3 – 0 Spurs (Saturday 16th March 2024)
At Craven Cottage, Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs last took on Marco Silva’s Fulham on Saturday, March 16th, 2024. Tottenham was continuing its challenge to secure a return to the highly coveted UEFA Champions League, and it knew that victory against their West London counterparts would significantly boost its chances.
Ahead of this match, the Lilywhites were sat in 5th place with a total of 53 points to their name, and they knew that they could leapfrog Aston Villa into the final UEFA Champions League spot in fourth place should Villa’s result have also gone their way. There was a two-point gap between them before the game against Fulham.
In their most recent Premier League game before facing Fulham, Spurs had emphatically beaten Aston Villa 4 – 0 at Villa Park. The goals that day for the Lilywhites came from James Maddison (50’), Brennan Johnson (53’), Son Heung-Min (90+1’) and Timo Werner (90+4’).
Meanwhile, Marco Silva and his Fulham side sat in 12th place with 35 points to their name – they were looking to climb closer to the top half of the 2023/24 Premier League table. They knew that with a win against their North London rivals, they could go to within just two points of Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United in 10th place whilst leapfrogging Chelsea.
In the end, Fulham defeated Spurs 3 – 0 at Craven Cottage. Following some early chances for the hosts, Spurs had a couple of great opportunities to take the lead with almost half an hour having elapsed.
Firstly, Son Heung-Min narrowly missed the target after his shot flew too high over the crossbar after receiving the ball from James Maddison as part of a swift counterattack (24’). Brennan Johnson then forced a great save from German Goalkeeper Bernd Leno a few minutes later, with Maddison the pass provider again (27’).
Unfortunately for Spurs, Fulham did go on to successfully take the lead in the latter stages of the first half, with their Brazilian forward Rodrigo Muniz finding the bottom left corner of Guglielmo Vicario’s net after meeting a cross into the penalty area from Cottagers left back Antonee Robinson (42’).
Then, the half-time whistle soon went on, with Marco Silva’s Fulham having a 1 – 0 lead going into the second half of this competitive contest.
It was 2 – 0 to Fulham early in the second half when Sasa Lukic found the bottom left corner after the Serbian international midfielder met a great cross into the box from right-back Timothy Castagne (49’).
Then, with less than half an hour of the game remaining, it was 3 – 0 when Rodrigo Muniz scored his second goal after he found the bottom right corner from very close range, following a Fulham corner (61’).
The game ended with Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur suffering a heavy defeat. Still, they will be optimistic about revenge when the two clubs meet in the Premier League next season, in 2024/25.
Spurs had the most possession of the ball over the ninety minutes with 57.1% compared with the hosts Fulham, who had 42.9% of the ball overall. Marco Silva’s side did have more shots on target, with 7 compared to the visitors’ 5.
As a result of this defeat, Spurs remained in 5th place, but they were still only three points adrift of Aston Villa in fourth place, and the Lilywhites still have their game in hand on Unai Emery’s Villa.
