Chelsea v Spurs Premier League Preview

Spurs head to Stamford Bridge for the second time this season hoping to put the disappointing resulting against Burnley behind them with a win against their London rivals. The Blues also had a difficult weekend after losing out on penalties to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final. Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping for an immediate reaction from his players when they face Chelsea after returning from Turf Moor with no points. Goals from Chris Wood and Ashley Barnes halted Spurs’ winning run in the league and to make matters worse Pochettino will receive punishment from the FA for his […]

Burnley v Spurs Premier League Match Report

Spurs’ title challenge suffered a hit as they lost out 2-1 to Burnley at Turf Moor in the early kick-off in the Premier League. Harry Kane marked his return from injury with a goal but it was not enough to get past a stubborn Burnley side. Mauricio Pochettino’s team could have closed the gap at the top of the Premier League table to two points but were blunted by Sean Dyche’s spirited clarets and things grew tense at the end of the match between Pochettino and referee Mike Dean, with an argument between the two breaking out after the match. Burnley v Spurs Premier League Preview

Spurs travel to Burnley on Saturday for their first Premier League match in a fortnight. Mauricio Pochettino’s side have had a ten-day gap since their last match against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League and will be eager to beat an in-form Burnley side to keep in touch with Liverpool and Manchester City at the top of the table. The players and staff had a well-earned break after a gruelling winter schedule which saw Spurs play two games a week for around two months. The break was made all the more sweeter by a stunning victory last time out at […]

Spurs v Dortmund Champions League Match Report

Spurs are in the box seat to go through to the quarter finals of the Champions League after a brilliant 3-0 victory against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley. Dortmund were overrun in the second period by a dominant Spurs side who made the Bundesliga leaders seem average. The Spurs goals came from Heung-min Son, Jan Vertonghen and substitute Fernando Llorente. There were some wonderful performances from Christian Eriksen and Moussa Sissoko but the best came from Jan Vertonghen, who was superb at left wing-back. Spurs must go to Dortmund in three weeks and stand solid in what will be an intimidating […]

Spurs v Borussia Dortmund Champions League Preview

The Champions League returns tonight as Spurs host Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of the first knockout round at Wembley. After picking up just one point from their first three group stages matches, it seemed very unlikely that Spurs would even make it to this stage of the competition. Spurs were joint bottom of their group which contained PSV Eindhoven, Inter Milan and Barcelona but managed to progress by the slimmest of margins. Narrow wins versus PSV and Inter Milan at Wembley gave them a glimmer of hope going into the final group stage match with Barcelona at Camp […]

Spurs v Leicester Premier League Review

Spurs maintained pressure on the top two in the Premier League with an unconvincing victory over Leicester City at Wembley. Goals from Davinson Sanchez, his first for the club, along with Christian Eriksen and Heung-min Son ensured that Spurs went nine points clear of fourth placed Manchester United in the Premier League table on an eventful Sunday afternoon in London. For Spurs, Fernando Llorente came back into the starting lineup in place of Lucas Moura and there was a rare start for Oliver Skipp who deputised for the unavailable Erik Lamela. Toby Alderweireld also started on the bench for Spurs, […]

Spurs v Leicester 2018/19 Premier League Preview

Spurs will be aiming to keep the pressure on Manchester City and Liverpool when they take on an inconsistent Leicester at Wembley on Sunday. Mauricio Pochettino’s side are five points off the top two in the Premier League almost two thirds into the season so will be hoping to maintain the pace. February is a huge month for Spurs with matches against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League as well as London derbies versus Chelsea and Arsenal in the Premier League. Spurs have won nine of their past eleven Premier League matches and Pochettino will be hoping that they can […]

Spurs Ladies Report

After last minute wins against Watford and Newcastle, many still believe that Tottenham Hotspur are still in the Premier League title race as we enter the last third of the season. However, Tottenham Hotspur Ladies are having an even better season in the FA Women’s Championship. They are currently top of the league and on course for promotion to the FA Women’s Super League. In our last review of the Spurs Ladies’ campaign in December, Spurs had made a positive start in the Women’s Continental Cup whereas Manchester United Ladies looked to be running away with the league, with Spurs […]
