Spurs finished the 2022/23 Premier League season in 8th place with 60 points, just one behind Aston Villa in 7th, who took the final European spot despite a brilliant Spurs last-day win at Leeds United (1-4). Over the course of the season, Spurs secured 18 wins, scoring 70 goals which was the fifth-best record in the league. Only Brighton (72), Liverpool (75), Arsenal (88) and Champions Manchester City (94) scored more.

Ange Postecoglu has been appointed as Spurs’ new Head Coach ahead of the 2023/24 season, and the former Celtic boss will be looking to lead Tottenham to a return to the top four come the end of the season. Postecoglu has a vast amount of managerial experience, and he won 2 Scottish Premiership titles (2021/22 & 2022/23), a Scottish Cup (2022/23) and 2 Scottish League Cups (2021/22 & 2022/23).

The club’s all-time leading goal scorer Harry Kane ended the season with no less than 30 goals in the Premier League alone – only Manchester City’s Erling Haaland had more, with 36 to his name.

The club will challenge for Champions League qualification again next season, with much for Spurs fans to look forward to for the upcoming 2023/24 Premier League campaign.
