New NFL retractable pitch test a success at Spurs New Stadium

Reports of a great milestone came from the new stadium last week as the team tested the retractable pitch which will be used for the NFL when the American teams will visit the stadium twice a year. The first NFL match-up at the New Stadium will be the Oakland Raiders vs Seattle Seahawks on October 14th. The Telegraph have reported that Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have shown interest in hosting the 2020 European Champions Cup Final at their stunning new stadium in North London. Spurs Abroad: International Champions Cup fixtures confirmed

It has been confirmed this week that Tottenham Hotspur will return to the United States this summer to compete in the International Champions Cup against Barcelona, AS Roma, and AC Milan. Spurs have chosen the U.S. as their pre-season destination six times out of the last nine trips as their fan base continues to grow in the States.
