Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which was relatively outdated, has been renovated to a sleek modern design and is now where the fans and supporters enjoy the ultimate matchday experience. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has now replaced their old stadium ‘White Hart Lane’, which they played at for 118 years!
As the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was quite outdated, the club looked for different ways to modernise the stadium and improve the location for the players and the fans. However, they were unsure whether they should make a whole new stadium or refurbish an existing one, and they went ahead with renovating an existing one.
During the 2018/19 season, the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was opened and built with the ultimate matchday experience, including world-class facilities, state of the art design, and excellent acoustics. Thus, ensuring one of the best atmospheres of any club ground in Europe when you purchase your Spurs tickets.

Leeds United 0 – 4 Tottenham Hotspur (26th February 2022)
The latest Premier League meeting between Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur saw the Lilywhites secure a 4-0 win at Elland Road.
Before the match, Spurs were sat in 8th place on 39 points and were looking to get back to winning ways against Leeds in order to strengthen their prospects of a Europa League spot.
By contrast, Leeds found themselves embroiled in a relegation battle and a win would give them a bit of breathing room between themselves and the bottom three.
Coming into the match, Antonio Conte’s Spurs knew the Leeds defence would be vulnerable and that they were capable of winning the match based on the potency of Leeds’ strikers.
Tottenham opened the scoring early in the first half on ten minutes when Matt Doherty saw his low shot fly into the back of the net following a teasing cross into the box from Ryan Sessegnon.
The Leeds defence barely had any time to react when just five minutes after the opening goal, Dejan Kulusevski doubled Spurs’ advantage (15’), when he made a determined run into the penalty area before seeing his low, driven shot find the back of the net.
The game was won by Spurs before the half hour mark when the prolific Harry Kane saw his rocket of a shot hit the back of the net in the 27th minute following an incisive pass from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Harry Kane’s first half goal ensured that the forward partnership between himself and Son would go down in Premier League history, becoming the most prolific partnership in the competition’s history with the two forwards combining to score a goal on 37 occasions.
The previous Premier League record was held by Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard whose record stood at 36.
The second half saw Leeds show some promise but they ultimately failed to make any of their opportunities count.
Spurs under Antonio Conte are a resilient outfit and they had to show this again when pressure was applied during the final moments of the match.
Tottenham capitalised on Leeds United’s lack of cutting edge in the final third when they showed their class once again, with Son Heung-Min scoring his team’s fourth of the afternoon (85’).
Possession throughout the match was even between the two teams, with both having 50% of the ball.
Spurs were ruthless and they were dominant in the creation of chances with 15 shots on goal. Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier was kept very busy, with 11 of these efforts being on target.
On this convincing win, Tottenham Head Coach Antonio Conte said: “I’m pleased for my players. Today, I asked for answers, not only about footballing aspects, but especially in the character, in the spirit, in the desire, the will to fight, the will to win duels. Today, in a difficult game – don’t forget to play against Leeds away, in this stadium, is not easy – to have these types of answers is good for me.”

Following this victory, Spurs found themselves in 7th place and were back in the battle for European football and they were now only 5 points adrift of the Champions League places.
