Samuel Shashoua is a nifty and rather skilful attacking midfielder. He joined the Tottenham Hotspur academy in July 2015.
Shashoa proved to be an all-rounded and talented young athlete from his early school days. Before he joined Spurs, he was the U12s County squash champion and played hockey for the South of England Under-16s team. Shashoua quickly got a taste of success at Spurs and was a member of the squad who both championed tournaments in South Korea and Latvia during the 2014-15 campaign. He made 20 appearances for the Under-18s squad in the 2015-16 season and found the net 5 times in all competitions.
However, it was the 2016-17 season where Samuel Shashoua proved his skilful and talented capabilities and equally a player with serious potential. Samuel Shashoa netted 13 times in 23 U18 appearances making him the second top scorer for the squad behind Jack Roles. Shashoa was also able to claim the first Spurs goal in the Under-19 UEFA Youth League, in a match against Monaco. Similarly, he lifted the IMG Cup in America in 2016 and appeared 4 times for the U23 squad in the Premier League 2, bagging a goal on the final day of the season.
Samuel’s efforts during this glistening season of goals, tricks and crafty footwork have been noted by the coaching staff, who decided to put him in the squad for the Tottenham Hotspur first team clash against Leicester City in May 2017.
