Oliver Skipp Bio

Oliver Skipp was born on 16 September 2000, Welwyn Garden City, England. Midfielder Oliver Skipp made his professional debut during Spurs’ 2018 pre-season tour of the United States. Later that year Skipp managed to secure his first competitive match whilst player against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League at the start of October, 2018.

Days later Oliver Skipp featured on the bench during Spurs’ 1-0 win over Cardiff City. Around the same time Oliver Skipp was named Premier League 2 Player of the month for his stand out performances for the Under-23s. His first professional Premier League debut came in a 3-1 win over Southampton at Wembley in December, 2018.

By the end of that campaign, he’d made 12 first team appearances for Spurs. Oliver Skipp deep involvement within the first team further benefited his performances on and off the pitch.

It has now been just over 2 years since Oliver Skipp emerged into the first team. His impressive performances, labelled as “phenomenal” by Jose Mourinho, has since landed him a brand new contract at Tottenham Hostpur. He will spend the 2020/21 season on loan at Norwich City.
