Jack Roles – Tottenham Hotspur

Jack Roles joined Spurs in July 2015 and is becoming known as a midfielder with a keen eye for the goal.

Jack had a promising first season at Spurs, making 16 appearances for the U18 squad and finding the net three times. A bit of a late bloomer, he made his first appearance for the Squad in this season in late October against Leicester City.

The 2016-17 campaign couldn’t have probably gone any better for the young midfielder. In his 21 league appearances Jack Roles scored goals. In addition, Jack bagged 4 goals in 4 appearances in the FA Youth Cup. This is an incredible feat for someone who is not a striker. His goal tally for the season not only meant that he was the top scorer in the Under-18s squad, but also the top scorer of all Spurs age groups aside from senior level. With a name like that, you can just hear the chant the fans will sing, ‘Jack roles, he scores goals’!

Jack has had some success in non-league accounts as well; he played four times in the U19 UEFA Youth league and was part of the U18s Spurs squad that won the IMG Cup in America in 2016.
