Brandon Austin is currently one of three Goalkeepers in the Spurs youth development squad. He seems to be the leading choice at U18 level, starting 13 games in the 2016-17 campaign, more than any of his goalkeeping counterparts.
Austin has shown both promise and potential, especially in his stint during the FA Youth Cup semi-final, where he made a string of remarkable saves against London rivals Chelsea. Austin has been selected on a number of occasions to play for both the Tottenham U19 and Tottenham U23 squads, both for Domestic Cup runs and in the Premier League 2.
Brandon Austin is London born and made his debut for the Tottenham U18 squad in 2015 after joining the club in July. Before joining Spurs, Austin was a member of the Youth Academy at Chelsea.
Gaining international recognition since being at Tottenham Hotspur, Brandon Austin was selected to appear in the U.S. national U18 squad – where he was to play in the 2017 Slovakia Cup. Brandon Austin holds dual heritage but has selected to represent the USA internationally in his career. Austin was a member of the Spurs squad that won the South Korea Cup in 2014 and helped the U18 Spurs secure the IMG Cup in America in 2016.
