

Carlos Vinicius – Player Profile
Striker, Carlos Vinicius, has joined Spurs on a season-long loan from Benfica. Last season Vinicius became joint top goalscorer in the Primeira Liga with 18 goals in 32 matches.
He began his football career at the age of 14 at Goiás, going on to spend time at Santos, Desportivo Brasil and Palmeiras.
The 25-year-old then moved on to Caldense, making his debut in 2017. The same year saw Vinicius move to Grêmio Anápolis during which time he caught the attention of Portuguese scouts.
He went on a season-long loan to Real, where he scored a hat-trick on his debut. Further loan spells include Rio Ave and Monaco, before joining Benefica in 2019. His time at Benefica saw him score another hat-trick against Marítimo.
With an impressive goal-scoring record behind him, it is hopeful that Vinicius could make some serious waves at Spurs.
