Georges-Kévin Nkoudou – Player Profile
Born in Versailles, France, ‘GK’ made his way through the youth sides of a number of French teams, including Petits Anges, EST Solitaire Paris and PSG before his first senior side debut with Ligue 1 side Nantes in the 2013-14 season, appearing eight times. He made a real impact the following season, with 32 appearances and two goals before being snapped up by Marseille in June, 2015.
Known for his speed, he made 41 appearances in all competitions for Les Olympiens in 2015-16, with 10 goals and five assists. He was particularly prolific in the Europa League, where four of his goals were seen.
Nkoudou joined Spurs from Marseille in August 2016, signing a contract with the club until 2021.
His Spurs debut came when he was substituted for Christian Eriksen in an EFL Cup match against Gillingham in September, 2016, finishing that 2016-17 campaign with two starts and 15 substitute appearances to his name.
His first goal for the Lilywhites came in a 3-0 Champions League home win over APOEL on December 6, 2017, one of his six appearances during the first half of the 2017-18 CL campaign.
He then joined fellow Premier League side Burnley on loan in January, 2018, making eight appearances for the Clarets as they qualified for the Europa League with a seventh place finish.
In January 2019, Nkoudou came off the bench to assist the winning goal for Harry Winks against Fulham in the Premier League. Later that month he was loaned out to AS Monaco for the remainder of the campaign.
