Spurs first met the Red Devils in a competitive fixture on 28th January 1899 at White Hart Lane, where the two clubs played out a 1-1 FA Cup draw. Tottenham’s first win against the Red Devils came in the replay a few days later on 1st February, where THFC beat United 5-3.

4th October 2020 was the day of the Lilywhites’ most recent Premier League victory against Manchester United at Old Trafford, where the visitors were emphatic 6-1 winners. The goal scorers for Spurs that day were: Tanguy Ndombele (4’), Son Heung-Min (7’, 37’), Harry Kane (30’, 79’ pen) and Serge Aurier (51’).

Tottenham drew 2-2 with United in their most recent Premier League meeting at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Pedro Porro (56’) and Son Heung-Min (79’) found the back of the net for the home side that day.

The head-to-head record in this fixture goes in the Red Devils’ favour, with the Old Trafford club winning 96 of their 199 meetings compared to Spurs’ 53. There have been 50 draws between these clubs as of the time of writing.

THFC will be hoping to complete a domestic double against Manchester United when they go head to head at Old Trafford in their second meeting of the 2023/24 Premier League season on Saturday, 13th January 2024.
