Son Heung-Min (3’, 66’, 71’) and Dejan Kulusevski (50’) scored that day for the visitors. This completed the domestic double after THFC had beaten the Villans 2-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 3rd October 2021.

Unfortunately for the Lilywhites, they lost 2-1 in their most recent match against Villa, which occurred at Villa Park on 13th May 2023.

Overall, Spurs’ have met Villa 172 times over the years, and Tottenham’s record in this fixture is outstanding, having secured 77 wins as of the time of writing. Villa, in comparison, has 59 wins to their name in this fixture. There have been 36 draws.
