During Tottenham Hotspur’s unfortunate defeat to Juventus midweek, English international Eric Dier sustained an injury to his elbow and as a result, will most likely miss the Spurs away trip to Bournemouth on Sunday. Eric Dier has appeared in all 29 games in the current Premier League season and has started 28 of them. Tottenham Hotspur haven’t released any information on how long Dier’s injury may be, but we hope he makes a swift recovery. Spurs will be looking to fight for a win at Bournemouth and further cement their position in the race for that all-important top-four finish. Spurs beat Bournemouth 1-0 in the last meeting, by the grace of Christian Eriksen, and will be looking to ‘do the double’ over them this weekend. Spurs have won four out of the last five meetings in the Premier League against the Cherries.
